Four day weekend thank god. I’ve very much had it with this week but mercifully there are now four days between me and the next time I have to tell an engineer how to do his job. WOOP! On Saturday I will be heading to Newcastle to see Travelling Light with Emily; and whilst it is mostly a Damien Molony pilgrimage I’m actually more excited for Emily’s first experience of a National Theatre production. I’m also very excited because I’d forgotten that Grant Olding was scoring this play. Then it’s a 4 day week next week, then I have to survive a 5 day week and then it is my birthday London week WOOHOO. Yet moreTravelling Light, mother wants to see it. Also The Conquest of the South Pole, Sam Crane! Andrew Gower! A new theatre I’ve never visited! Me trying to not get paranoid about rush hour traffic!! A visit to the National Theatre archive, Pericles in Greek and Troilus and Cressida in Maori at the Globe (basically, home) and the possibilities of Noises Off and The Duchess of Malfi. COME ON APRIL LET’S DO THIS!
